A night of awards and celebration was put on by the Clippers City Chordsmen.
They held their annual celebration earlier this month.
Don Lewellen with the Chordsmen recalled and shared all the past practice sessions, remembered numerous performances of singing out in the community, and recapped the annual spring and Christmas shows.
This year’s Spark Plug Award winner was Chordsmen Anthony Schreiter for all that he did for the group.
He was also named Barbershopper of the Year by the group.
Vice-President of the Land O Lakes Chordsmen Chapter, Jim Rasmus, conducted the installation of officers for the new year.
Bill Fricke was installed as the chordsmen’s new president and finished the night with his hopes and desires for the new year.
