It was a rematch 100 years in the making.
On January 16th, 1924, the Ships boys took on a visiting Sheboygan South squad in the newly built JFK Fieldhouse, and on Monday, the two teams squared off again.
Manitowoc Lincoln defeated Sheboygan South 63-48 in the FRCC matchup.
The Ships, who led at halftime 36-25, ended up with three players in double figures. Brayden Steinbecker led the way with 18 points, Eddie Bolchen chipped in 14, and Micah Kubsch contributed 11.
Matt Leonhard topped the Redwings with a game-high 20 points.
Lincoln is now 7-7 on the season and is back in action tonight as they travel to Green Bay Southwest.
