Following the first week of rising gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin in over 15 weeks, most counties in our area have rebounded back to a downward trend.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon is down five cents from this time last week to $2.68, while Sheboygan County reported the largest drop in the area of seven cents to $2.71.
Calumet County motorists are paying three cents less at the pump, with an average of $2.71, while Outagamie County saw a six-cent drop to $2.58, the least expensive fuel in the area.
Brown County’s average dipped five cents to $2.69, and Kewaunee County reported a four-cent drop to $2.75.
However, Door County saw a one-cent bump to $2.77.
The state average followed the local trend, dropping four cents to $2.71, while the national average jumped a penny to $3.08.
