Some open snowmobile trails are starting to close because of the warmer weather.
According to Travel Wisconsin, some Manitowoc County trails are still partially open, but conditions are considered poor, and section 2 of the trail will close at 6 am Wednesday (January 24th).
Calumet County trails are fully closed, but Sheboygan County trails are open and considered in good condition as of Sunday, according to the Northern Kettle Moraine Snowmobile Association of Sheboygan County.
Other counties with open trails include Kewaunee and Oconto Counties. Brown County and Outagamie trails are starting to partially close, depending on which zone you are in.
Always check conditions before leaving because they can change very quickly.
Snowmobilers are reminded to respect landowners and stay off the trails when closed.
