A convicted sex offender is set to be released from prison this week and will be residing in Manitowoc.
According to the Manitowoc Police Department, Tyler J. James is set to be released on January 30th and will be living in a home in the 1100 block of South 9th Street.
He was previously convicted of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and 4th Degree Sexual Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
Additionally, he is registered with the Sex Offender Registration Program and GPS tracking for life.
James is not wanted by authorities at this time, and any harassment of him will not be tolerated.
