Two people charged in a Manitowoc shooting at a Viebahn St. apartment complex aren’t eligible for a public defender.
59-year-old Clarence Holder and 62-year-old Dianne Holder of Indianapolis, Indiana, had their initial appearance in Judge Mark Roher’s courtroom yesterday afternoon (January 29th).
Both decided they would apply for court-appointed council, but Roher said that doesn’t mean they will get it.
Their next court date is scheduled for February 5th at 1:30 pm. Manitowoc Police were called to the apartment complex on the afternoon of November 4th for a complaint of a victim who was shot and sustained unspecified injuries.
Clarence is charged with attempted homicide, attempted robbery, burglary, and felony possession of a firearm, while Dianne is accused of being a party to the crime.
Clarence is being held in the County Jail on $1 million cash bail, while Diane is being held on $100,000 cash bond.
