The Above and Beyond Children’s Museum in Sheboygan is looking for a new executive director
Jackie Erdman, who has worked at the museum for three years, announced that she is stepping down.
During her tenure, Jackie led the team in building the All-Abilities Purple Octopus Playground, oversaw the museum’s reopening following a winter flood causing ice damage on Christmas Day 2022, and spearheaded the design and installation of the museum’s first rotating multi-cultural exhibit.
The Culture Exchange initially highlighted the Hmong culture.
Additionally, she expanded sensory sensitivity offerings, including the opening of the Calming Corner exhibit.
Moving forward, Jackie plans to pursue her professional goals while prioritizing her young family.
The museum plans to realign strategies for continued growth and fundraising while continuing to enhance programs and offerings.
Above & Beyond Children’s Museum will actively search for a new executive director.
During this transition, direct all inquiries including job applications and resumes to President of the Board Tim Saeger at timothy.saeger@thrivent.com.
