A Clintonville woman had her bond set at $5,000 cash after allegedly threatening to blow up an Oshkosh synagogue.
According to a report from WBAY TV in Green Bay, 65-year-old Pauline Beyer says she did it because she was trying to get attention from the FBI because she was apparently being held hostage by police.
A religious leader says he got a phone call from Beyer, who said she would blow up the synagogue after asking the leader if it was a religious establishment.
The synagogue and some neighboring homes were evacuated just in case.
She faces three and half years in prison and a $10,000 fine if she’s convicted.
In court yesterday, she was ordered to have no contact with any religious group or place of worship.
