The Valders Vikings used a 12 to 2 run late in the first half to pull away and hold off the Two Rivers Raiders 65 to 53 in an EWC Boys Basketball game in Two Rivers.
The Raiders got off to a great start on Senior Night as Zac Cortte made back-to-back three-point baskets to put the Raiders up early.
Valders led 21 to 19 late in the first half when they went on that 12 to 2 run to establish control and were never seriously threatened the rest of the night.
The Vikings were led by junior guard Will Sieracki who had a game high 21 points and senior forward Kyle Hove who had 13 points and 5 rebounds.
Two Rivers was led by junior guard Carson Kadow, who scored 19 points and senior forward Parker Glandt added 8 points and 11 rebounds.
Valders improves to 7 and 4 in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference and 10 and 9 overall, while Two Rivers falls to 4 and 7 in The EWC and 8 and 11 overall.
The Vikings return to action tomorrow as they travel to Bonduel while The Raiders are off until next Tuesday night when they travel to Brillion to battle the Lions.
