The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is currently accepting nominations for three positions on the Wisconsin Potato Industry Board, including a one representing the Manitowoc area
Potato growers in designated districts across Wisconsin are invited to nominate fellow growers or themselves for board membership.
Districts are outlined by specific counties, and eligible growers will receive nomination forms by mail.
To complete a nomination, growers are required to obtain signatures from at least five qualified growers, notarize the form, and ensure it is postmarked by the deadline.
Completed forms should be sent to the Department’s Market Order Program.
If growers have not received a form by March 15th, they should contact the department.
The deadline to apply is March 29th.
