Gun legislation at the Wisconsin State Capitol is moving out of committee.
A bill introduced by Manitowoc Assemblyman Paul Tittl would allow hunters to use air guns to hunt bigger animals.
A 10-0 vote from the Committee on Sporting Heritage moves the legislation forward to the Committee on Rules.
Tittl has told Seehafer News that air guns are usually used to shoot smaller game like rabbits, but newer air guns being created can be used to shoot bigger animals like deer.
He also says this legislation would give hunters another option to go hunting, especially with declining numbers in how many deer are being taken.
