Dr. Paul Carlsen, the President of Lakeshore Technical College, has earned a spot as one of the six contenders for the CEO of the Year award, as announced by the American Association of Community Colleges.
The final decision will be made public at the AACC’s yearly gathering on April 8th.
The AACC is a prominent advocate for over a thousand community colleges granting associate degrees, and their nearly 12 million students select finalists based on a comprehensive evaluation.
This assessment includes leadership qualities, the successful launch of impactful programs, advocacy efforts at various governmental levels, engagement in nationwide conversations about community college trends and challenges, and their roles on boards that contribute to the progress of two-year institutions.
