Authorities in Key Largo, Florida, have apprehended a 35-year-old Mukwonago resident, Tyler Berlick, on charges of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl from South Carolina.
The Monroe County deputies made the arrest around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday in a Key Largo parking lot.
The teenager went missing from her residence in Simpsonville, South Carolina, on Sunday night.
Investigators reveal that Berlick has had acquaintance with the girl for approximately a year, yet the circumstances leading to their presence together in Florida remain undisclosed.
Berlick is expected to face federal charges in relation to the incident.
