After voting yes to impeaching Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, an Eastern Wisconsin Congressman still says not enough is being done to remove illegal immigrants from the U.S.
Last Thursday, Sixth District Congressman Glenn Grothman held a hearing on catch-and-release policies in his House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security, the Boarder, and Foreign Affairs.
He says recent policies have “led to an overwhelming amount of people arriving at our border illegally and how it is putting a strain on Border Patrol agents and communities across the country.”
He says the Biden Administration and Mayorkas continue to fail to deport illegal migrants.
He continues to promote the Secure the Boarder Act that House Republicans have passed, but it’s not the sole way of getting a handle on border security.
The Glenbulah Republican says House Speaker Mike Johnson has outlined multiple times where the Biden Administration is “undermining border security.”
