A decision on the Manitowoc Farmers Market and an update on the Manitowoc Area Visitors and Conventions Bureau lawsuit were announced at last night’s Manitowoc Common Council meeting.
No one on the council decided to pull the decision on not moving the farmers market out of the consent agenda, meaning the council voted unanimously to keep the market where it is at the Quay Street parking lot instead of moving it to 8th Street like it was proposed.
Council President Eric Sitkiewitz also explained what the next step will be regarding the lawsuit between the city of Manitowoc and the MAVCB.
He tells Seehafer News that their attorneys gave an update, and there is a briefing in front of Judge Mark Rohrer in May, which should lead to a resolution between both parties.
