Manitowoc County has a new Emergency Services Director.
Rhonda Green has taken over after Kayla Beckerdite announced in September, that she is moving to Iowa to continue her radiological planning career.
Green is from Sheboygan but was transferred to Kentucky for fifteen years because of an employer.
She’s now decided to move back to eastern Wisconsin and took the job in October.
She talked on the WCUB Breakfast Club about the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant and how a drill was run recently if an emergency happened.
Green says if an alert needed to be sent, your cell phone would get an alert if something dangerous was happening.
