Manitowoc, Wisconsin – Eileen M. Wronkowski, age 82, of Manitowoc, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 21, 2024, at Holy Family Memorial, Manitowoc.
Eileen was born October 19, 1941, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Clem and Florence (Duzeski) Weier. As a young teenager, she met and quickly fell in love with “the boy next door,” Norbert J. Wronkowski. Her and Norb were united in marriage on September 3, 1960, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Eileen had worked at several places including WCUB Radio, Rohrer’s Pharmacy, Manitowoc Pharmacy, Ascend Services, all of Manitowoc.
Eileen enjoyed taking care of her family and supporting all of them in each of their activities and adventures. She found great pleasure in various activities such as: doing puzzles, sewing/stitching/embroidery, and listening to music. Handling the simple things in life brought her joy. Going to church, keeping a clean house, cooking, baking, and gardening made her happy. Above all, Eileen was an excellent example of love and service. She proved this every day in her loving care of Norb, and all her family (… even her little dog, Wasabi).
Survivors include her husband of 63 years: Norbert J. Wronkowski, of Manitowoc; two daughters: Debby (Robert Owens) Wronkowski, of Two Rivers; Angela (Jason) Pribyl, of Manitowoc; one son: Steven (Marilyn) Wronkowski, of Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Jacquelyn (Nicholas) Willman, of Omro; David (Molly) Wronkowski, of Milwaukee; Samuel, Grace, and James Pribyl, of Manitowoc; two great grandchildren: Ava & Reggie Willman; her sister: Judith Fierst, Francis Creek; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
