Visit Manitowoc is trying to continue to grow its digital presence.
Executive Director Courtney Hanson says this will include four new touchscreen kiosks put up around the city.
The kiosks can be used to help get around town and help visitors learn more about Manitowoc when they show up.
Hanson says one will be put up at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum while another will be placed in front of the Visit Manitowoc Office on 8th Street.
Two others will be placed at the Inn on Maritime Bay and Holiday Inn.
The last one will be a more mobile kiosk and will be placed near the S.S Badger ticket office but can be brought around town during the off-season.
Hanson explained to Seehafer News that with the kiosks, “You’ll be able to touch through and tap onto to different listings, look at different itineraries, make your own itinerary, search hours, and go to different websites for different restaurants and attractions.”
Council President Eric Sitkiewitz praised Hanson and her team for bringing the city into the more modern age with this technology.
The digital kiosks should be installed by July 1st.
