Three Manitowoc County Wrestlers are bringing home gold medals from The WIAA State Individual Wrestling Championships at The Kohl Center in Madison.
Two Rivers Senior Justin Klinker recorded a 3 to 1 decision and captured the Division Two title at 175 pounds, while sophomore Angie Bianchi of The Raiders is a state champion at 114 pounds.
Manitowoc Lincoln’s Emjay Newman joins Bianchi as a state champion at 120 pounds.
Finishing runners-up were senior Chase Mathias of Two Rivers in Division Two at 215 pounds, senior Eyan Dessellier of Kiel in Division Two at 165 pounds, and senior Maddux Wendling of Valders in Division Three at 120 pounds.
Sophomore Max Matthias of Two Rivers placed third at 190 pounds in Division Two, while freshman Logan Schad of Kiel also brought home a bronze medal at 113 pounds in Division Two.
