The search for Elijah Vue is now on day six.
Two Rivers Police Chief Ben Meinert issued another update at 8:40 last night (February 25th), where he explained, “In order to maximize the resources offered to us, law enforcement will continue our search efforts on land and water throughout the night.”
In a previous update, he also noted that a video that was making its way around social media depicting the recovery of a minor by officers was, in fact, a fake.
There have also been scammers trying to take advantage of the situation by seeking money and personal information.
People who are continuing to search are asked to respect the private property of others and only search in public areas.
Residents have also been asked to check their personal property and any security camera footage they may have for any tips that may lead to finding Elijah.
