A Manitowoc man is pleading not guilty in his fatal drug overdose case.
41-year-old Nathan Tollefson was back in Judge Robert Dewane’s courtroom two weeks ago for his preliminary hearing.
After hearing testimony from a Manitowoc Detective Sergent and examination from District Attorney Jackie LeBre and Aileen Henry, Dewane found probable cause to believe a felony happened and the defendant was responsible.
Tollefson was arrested in September last year after an individual was found dead from an overdose on Manitowoc’s southside.
Toxicology reports and an autopsy from the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiners Office showed the person died from an overdose, and Tollefson allegedly provided the drugs.
His bond was set at $50,000 cash.
His next court date is set for March 15th at 8:30 am.
