A local hospital has been given recognition for their services.
According to the Chartis Center for Rural Health, Aurora Medical Center – Manitowoc County is one of the top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals.
The Top 100 award program recognizes outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the Center’s Performance Index results.
Hospital President Cathie Kocourek says the team is “proud to serve the community with high-quality care.”
This is the third year Aurora Medical Center – Manitowoc County has been recognized.
SSM Health in Baraboo also received recognition as well as Watertown Regional Medical Center.
