A Wisconsin state senator is going to run for an open seat in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District.
An anonymous source tells Seehafer News that State Senator Andre Jacque will try and take the seat currently held by Mike Gallagher who announced last month that he is not running for re-election.
Jacque has been thinking about running but hasn’t made an official decision until now.
He will be facing off against Former State Senator Roger Roth, who announced he was running not long after Gallagher announced he wasn’t running again.
Jacque has been a state senator since 2010.
