Two Manitowoc residents pulled over last weekend in separate incidents and arrested on drug charges are free on signature bonds.
Bail was set at $4,000 signature bond for 40-year-old Stephanie L. Robinson on charges of Possession of THC, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, possession of a prescription drug and four counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Police pulled Robinson over late last Friday afternoon after finding out she did not have a valid driver’s license.
The car she was driving also did not belong to her, and with the owner’s consent, a search uncovered a prescription pill along with some tin foil with burnt residue and a vape cartridge with THC in it.
The lone condition of bail is that Robinson maintains “absolute sobriety.” Her initial court appearance is scheduled for March 25th at 1:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, a $3,000 signature bond was issued for 39-year-old Brett M. Durben on charges of possession of fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, an electric weapon, a scheduled drug, and felony bail jumping.
Police pulled Durben over last Saturday for an “unreadable” license plate. A K-9 search of the vehicle revealed a black case containing a “stun gun” along with a black digital scale.
He later admitted to having drugs in his socks and was taken into custody.
Conditions of bail are that Durben have “no contact” with any known drug dealers or users, not possess any controlled substance unless prescribed and maintain “absolute sobriety.” His initial court appearance is scheduled for March 25th at 1:30 p.m.
