Patricia M. Hutchison, age 59, a resident of Newton, entered eternal life while surrounded by family on Friday, March 8, 2024 at her home.
Patty was born on March 24, 1964 in Chilton to the late Paul and Viola (Geiser) Kees. She graduated from Hilbert High School with the class of 1982 and went on to obtain an Associate Degree from Fox Valley Technical College. On August 17, 1985, Patty married Steven Hutchison at St. John the Baptist Church in Hilbert. For many years, she had worked as a shipping / receiving clerk and accounts receivable specialist. Patty had volunteered for the Newton Lions and was a longtime Treasurer for Newton Sno-Sports. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, reading, doing puzzles, and above all, being with her family and friends.
Survivors include Patty’s husband of 38 years, Steve; two sons, David (Jennifer) Hutchison and Daniel Hutchison; eight siblings, Carol Thiel, Paul (Carolyn) Kees Jr., Margie Thiel, Sandy (Tim) Gossens, John (Sherry) Kees, Jeannie (Doug) Lindsley, Kathy (Wayne) Eldred, and Don Kees; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Debbie (George) Gersmehl, Denise (Elwood) Free, Renee (Steve) VerHaagh, John Hutchison, and Jeannie (Enrique) Centeno; also many cherished friends and other relatives. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Viola Kees; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Caroline “Kelly” Hutchison; and two brothers-in-law, Richard Thiel and Leon Thiel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. David Beaudry officiating. A luncheon for family and friends will then follow at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation will take place at a later date at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
