The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has disclosed plans to shutter its Waukesha campus by the conclusion of the upcoming academic year due to declining enrollment figures.
Chancellor Mark Mone cited insufficient student numbers as the primary reason for closure, with only 672 students currently enrolled.
The decision will impact approximately 100 university staff members, marking the latest closure among UW branch campuses.
