Thadd Cornell, The Head Boys Basketball Coach of The Manitowoc Lincoln Boys basketball team the past seven years, has resigned citing family reasons regarding the health of his parents.
His resignation was formally approved by The Manitowoc Public School Board Tuesday night. They released this statement.
“The Manitowoc Public School District would like to thank coach Cornell for his time, dedication, and commitment to the boys’ basketball program. His leadership will be missed, and we wish him and his family the best in the future.”
Manitowoc Lincoln Athletic Director Stan Diedrich says a search for a new Head Coach will begin immediately.
