A Brown County conservation group is hosting an opportunity to learn about the maple syrup-making process.
It is all happening at the Barkhausen Waterfowl Reserve on March 16th from 9:00 until 2:00 p.m.
The event includes a guided hike through an education station in the sugar bush, a visit to the “Sugar Shack” for a closer look, and a sweet treat to wrap up the tour.
To secure a spot, purchase tickets online at browncountyparks.org under “Quick Links.”
Remember, pre-registration is required, and tickets are only available online.
The cost is $5 per person with children aged 2 and under free of charge, and all purchases are final.
If attending, make sure to dress appropriately for the outdoor adventure.
