Anticipated inclement weather in New York City has forced the New York Mets to postpone their home and season opener against The Milwaukee Brewers until Friday.
The game will start at 12:40 p.m. with Freddy Peralta scheduled to make his first career opening day start for Milwaukee. Left-hander Jose Quintana counters for New York.
Meanwhile, WOMT’s “Tap Room” broadcast from PetSkull Brewing, located at 1015 Buffalo Street in Manitowoc, will continue as scheduled on Thursday from 11:30 until noon.
Doors open at 11 a.m., with attendees receiving prizes that include tickets for the Brewers, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Mount Olympus, and more.
The program will air live on 107.9 WOMT and womtradio.com.
