A 33-year-old Manitowoc man, who had several prior encounters with law enforcement for causing a public disturbance, is facing several new charges in his latest incident Tuesday afternoon.
Edgar R. Revuelta is officially charged with Threats to Law Enforcement, Resisting Arrest, Two Counts of Disorderly Conduct, and two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Manitowoc Police responded to The Dairy Queen on Memorial Drive for a report of an intoxicated customer.
An employee said that Revuelta had used profanities while placing an order.
Once placed into cuffs, he berated officers with profanities, threatening to fight with them.
He was taken to The County Jail without further incident, where he remains in lieu of $500 cash bail.
Conditions of bail include that Revuelta has “no contact” with The Memorial Drive Dairy Queen or its parking lot and maintains “absolute sobriety.”
His initial appearance is scheduled for April 1st at 1:30 p.m.
