A 42-year-old Manitowoc woman who was arrested late Tuesday night for allegedly threatening to kill a nurse at a local hospital has been officially charged with Threatening a Health Care Provider or Family.
Christina Busse is also charged with Disorderly Conduct.
Manitowoc Police responded to a call about a woman (Busse) walking in the 100 block of Maritime Drive and eventually lying down on the road.
Police say that Busse was “very intoxicated,” struggling to stand upright and becoming argumentative with officers.
She was taken to Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital, where she had grabbed a nurse, saying, “Get out of here, or I will kill you.”
After being cleared, she was taken to The County Jail and remains there in lieu of $250 cash bail.
Conditions of bail include that Busse has “no contact” with the victim and maintains “absolute sobriety.”
Her initial appearance is scheduled for April 1st at 1:30 p.m.
