A 42-year-old Manitowoc woman who faces charges following an incident last week in which she ended up “lying down on the road” is due back in Manitowoc Court next week for a preliminary hearing.
Christina Busse is officially charged with Threatening a Health Care Provider or Family and Disorderly Conduct.
Police responded to a call the night of March 26th for a woman that was walking in the 100 block of Maritime Drive and eventually ended up lying down on the road.
She became argumentative with officers and was taken to a local hospital after it was determined that she was “very intoxicated”.
Busse then allegedly grabbed a nurse saying, “Get out of here, or I will kill you.” At last word Busse remains in The County Jail in lieu of $250 cash bail.
A preliminary hearing, which will determine if there is a probable cause that a crime was committed, is scheduled for April 15th.
