A 34-year-old Manitowoc man who was taken into custody following two violent incidents last Friday is facing a litany of charges.
Martin Jacobo-Antonio appeared for a bail hearing in Manitowoc County Circuit Court Monday afternoon where he’s been charged with Third-Degree Sexual Assault, Strangulation and Suffocation, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct.
Police responded to a residence around noon where an unidentified woman claimed that Jacobo-Antonio came home from work proceeding to grab someone by their hands and dragging them to a bedroom because he wanted to have sex.
He allegedly was saying repeatedly “I can have it when I want it, it’s mine.”
Jacobo-Antonio returned later that night and allegedly became upset with the same female victim after seeing a food truck outside the residence.
The criminal complaint states that he suddenly struck her, causing ringing in her ears.
After she began crying, he let her go and left, returning to his residence where he was taken into custody without incident. No injuries were reported.
The lone condition of bail is that Jacobo-Antonio is to have no “abusive or assaultive” contact with the victim.
He’s free on $1,000 cash bail and is scheduled to return to court for an initial appearance April 8th at 1:30.
