Thomas Earl Boneck, age 75, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away following a long, courageous battle of Parkinson’s dementia on Good Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Tom was born on December 23, 1948 to the late Earl and Margaret Boneck. He grew up in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the class of 1967. Tom was a Vietnam Veteran that served his country in the United States Army from 1967 until his honorable discharge in 1971. On September 6, 1969, Tom married Diane Lynn Strebe. He and his wife, Diane, resided at Pigeon Lake for the last 40 plus years. Tom was blessed to retire early in 2003 and enjoyed living the lake life, boating, grilling out, and fishing with his grandson.
Survivors include Tom’s wife of 54 years, Diane; daughter, Sarah (Keith) Kellenbenz; grandson, Joseph Thomas Kellenbenz and his fiancé Emma Reger; also other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Margaret Boneck; and sister, Darlene Kreuter Maner.
