Wisconsin voters have approved two constitutional amendments aimed at curbing the influence of outside funding in state elections.
These amendments stem from concerns raised during the 2020 election, particularly regarding the utilization of Zuckerbucks grants from the Mark Zuckerberg-funded Center for Tech and Civic Life.
These grants, totaling eight million dollars, predominantly supported election operations in Democratic strongholds like Green Bay.
Critics argue that such grants essentially bought election operations in certain communities, prompting the prohibition of similar grants in the future.
