Barbara L. Krueger, age 75, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Samaritan Home in Manitowoc.
Barbara was born on January 6, 1949 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Benedict and Genevieve Kuffel Winiecki. Barbara attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1967. She had been employed with Ascend Services (formerly Holiday House) until 2021. Barbara enjoyed crafting, crocheting, reading, and doing cross word puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Tracy) Thomas, Manitowoc, three grandchildren, Kaleb Dokey, Tanner (Larissa) Dokey, and Aiden Dokey; one step grandson, Kyle (Christine) Thomas; three great grandchildren, Aliyah, Bailey, and Sheldan; two brothers, Ervin (Barbara) Winiecki, Manitowoc, and Alan (Mary Ann) Winiecki, Green Bay; one sister, Lori and one brother-in-law, Dave; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benedict and Genevieve Winiecki and one sister, Paulette.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Deacon Alan Boeldt. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of services at 4 p.m. Following the memorial services a dinner will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Burial of Barbara’s cremated remains will be at Knollwood Cemetery at a later date.
