There could be a possible primary race in the newly redrawn Wisconsin 27th Assembly District.
According to WHBL, Lindee Brill has announced her candidacy as a Republican to run in the district, which now covers a small portion of Manitowoc County, specifically the City of Kiel and the town of Schleswig.
According to her website, she’s a “child of God, a blessed wife, an honored mother of 3 and a proud American and Wisconsinite.”
Key issues she is running on include election integrity, being a pro-life, and dignity for Wisconsin residents, meaning for her a secure border to stop the flow of deadly drugs like Fentanyl coming into the state.
She also wants to implement for Safe Harbor Laws to help stop youth sex trafficking. Republican Terry Katsma, who’s the incumbent in the new district hasn’t announced if he’s running for another term.
Another Republican, Amy Binsfeld, used to cover a portion of Manitowoc County with her old district, but it now covers only the city of Sheboygan.
She’s announced she is also running for another term.
