The Manitowoc County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a two-vehicle crash early Tuesday afternoon in Manitowoc.
Captain Matt Wallander of The Manitowoc Police Department says that a vehicle driven by 81-year-old Glenroy Peronne of Valders was travelling west bound on
Highway 151, when he turned in front an eastbound semi driven by a 24-year-old Manitowoc man travelling south on Highway 42.
Peronne died at the scene, while the Manitowoc man, whose name has not been released, was not hurt.
Captain Wallander thanked those on scene for attempting to perform lifesaving efforts.
