Daniel P. Neuenfeldt, age 49, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024 at his home.
He was born October 15, 1974 in California, and was adopted eight months later by his loving parents Fred and Patricia (Salerno) Neuenfeldt. Dan attended school in California before moving to Manitowoc in 1996 with his family. Since 1997, Dan has been employed with Ascend Services, formerly know as Holiday House. He was also involved in the Association for the Developmentally Disabled. Dan was passionate about sports and participated in the Manitowoc County Special Olympics. He enjoyed softball, basketball, flag football, bowling, power lifting, cornhole, and bocce. He was also a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Green Bay Packers. Aside from sports, he also enjoyed playing video games. Dan will be remembered as a happy and pleasant person who loved being around people.
Dan is survived by his parents: Fred and Patricia Neuenfeldt, Manitowoc; his brother: Scott (Sandra) Neuenfeldt, Mission Viejo, CA; one niece: Kylie Neuenfeldt, Mission Viejo, CA; his aunt: Sally (Rich) Dalton, Manitowoc; and his uncle: Philip (Diane) Salerno, Thousand Oaks, CA. He is further survived by cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc. Following the service, Dan will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
