The Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game is having its May Meeting on Wednesday, May 8th, at Lincoln Park in cabin #1.
The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. and is open to both members and the general public.
Typically, the agenda includes a guest speaker, a brief business meeting, and complimentary food and refreshments.
The guest speaker for this meeting will be Jason Breeggemann, a DNR Fisheries Biologist, who will provide insights on panfish regulations, along with survey results from Silver Lake and Pigeon Lake.
Additionally, there will be a concise update on the Manitowoc County Conservation Study, which was recently concluded in April.
The unit also emphasizes that memberships for the 2024 term are now accessible.
With the membership accounts dwindling in the recent years, the organization highlights the importance of community support for all 25 conservation organizations in Manitowoc County.
Membership plays a crucial role in influencing future regulations, as well as safeguarding rights and resources.
Manitowoc Unit dues remain at $5 annually.
