Bellin Hospital in Green Bay is being praised for its safety practices.
Bellin was awarded an “A” grade for hospital safety by The Leapfrog Group, marking the 12th consecutive time it has received this recognition.
The Leapfrog Group grades hospitals based on more than 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries, and infections, as well as the safety systems in place to prevent them using the standard letter grading system.
Bellin and Gundersen Health System Executive Vice President and Bellin Region President Chris Woleske said that the distinction “reflects the unwavering commitment of our care teams and staff to prioritize patient safety and to deliver the highest quality care possible.”
