Roger F. Rosinsky went to his eternal Home May 2, 2024, at the age of 89.
As a boy Roger loved going fishing with his dad. He could hardly wait for the warm weather to come. Roger graduated from Lincoln High School and then attended Art Center in Los Angeles, CA for two years. He returned to Manitowoc and worked in the Art Department for Mirro Corporation as a Graphic Designer, designing cookware cartons and catalog pages. He loved going into stores and seeing his designs on the shelves. In addition to being a talented artist, he loved working with wood. He designed and built an A-Frame cottage in Pembine, WI where many fun times were spent with family and friends.
Upon his retirement, after 39 years, he and his wife Sallie purchased a condo in West Palm Beach, FL where they were blessed to spend the next 27 winters in warm weather. Roger continued to do art work creating many paintings, portraits, and pet portraits for other people.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Margaret and his sister Ramona. He is survived by his wife Sallie, three sons and their wives, David and Lesley of Warner Robins, GA, Steve and Heidi of Manitowoc, and Tim and Lisa of Whitelaw, three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
A service of memory will be held at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1033 S. 8th Street, Manitowoc, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation with Roger’s family beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Officiating at the service will be the Rev.
