The Manitowoc County Historical Society is hosting a WWI Encampment on June 1st and 2nd, starting at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m. both days.
Attendees will get the opportunity to visit the camps of American, British, German, Russian, and Ottoman nations while learning about each of their roles in the Great War.
Guests will also be able to experience a display area that shows Manitowoc County during WWI.
There are numerous activities scheduled for the weekend, including camp kitchens on the front, weaponry, the Red Cross, and more.
Attendees will also be able to learn about any past WWI relatives and the units they served with.
To attend, general admission is $14 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $10 for youth aged 4-17.
Children aged 4 or under may attend for free along with members of the Manitowoc County Historical Society.
