A teacher in Kenosha has been relieved of his duties amid accusations of grooming a student.
Christian Enwright, 29, faces 22 misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct following claims that he engaged in inappropriate behavior with a student he initially met when the latter was in seventh grade.
Authorities assert that Enwright sent numerous texts to the student, a pattern indicative of grooming.
The Kenosha Unified Schools terminated Enwright’s employment, prompting parental outcry and protests at a recent school board meeting.
While the district refrains from commenting on personnel matters, it underscores its commitment to student welfare.
