Clifford E. Troullier, age 91, a Whitelaw resident passed away early Wednesday morning, May 1, 2024 at Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Cliff was born on June 8, 1932 in Manitowoc County, he was the son of the late Elmer and Anna (Yanda) Troullier. Cliff was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1951. He entered the United States Army right out of High School and served during the Korean Conflict. On September 2, 1956 he married Elaine Marcelle. Cliff owned and operated his own upholstery business for over 50 years. Sharing his talent, he taught upholstery classes at Lakeshore Technical College. Cliff along with his wife, Elaine enjoyed participating in many Horseshoe Tournament’s. Cliff had the honor of being inducted into the Horseshoe Hall of Fame. When Cliff was not playing horseshoes, he spent time golfing, bowling, hunting, and camping. Cliff and Elaine found the perfect piece of land to build their dream home. Using the trees on the property and the help of his family, Cliff was able to build his log cabin home, in the middle of the woods with the Branch River running through his backyard. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all.
Survivors include: his wife, Elaine, Whitelaw, one daughter: Patricia Ann Troullier, Wisconsin Rapids, one son: Steven Troullier, Manitowoc, three granddaughters: Stephanie (Garion) Hoffman, Sun Prairie, Heather Machia, Two Rivers, Breanna Wiensch, Kaukauna, and their mother; Beth (Kevin) Koch, Valders, four great granddaughters: Kylie Franzen, Alexis, Aria and Scarlette Machia, two brothers: Vernon Troullier, Allan (Linda) Troullier, five sisters: Gladys Josephine Novak, Eunice MacDonald, Dorothy (Thomas) Klein, LaVerne Schmidt (Joe Dempsky), Bonnie (Steve) Wagner, two sisters-in-law: Anna May Troullier and Janice Troullier, all from Manitowoc, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Sr. Marie Goretti, Kaukauna, Marilyn Barrette, Sandra Jauquet, Cheri (Tom) Peot, Jerry (Bonnie) Marcelle, Luxemburg, Roselyn Maloney, Dennis (Darlene) Marcelle, Debbie (Kevin) Crocker, Green Bay, and Diane Marcelle, Madison. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive.
Cliff was also preceded in death by: four brothers; Norman, Kenneth, Milton, and Thomas, two sisters-in-law: Jeri Troullier, LaVonne Troullier, six brothers-in-law: Robert Novak, Ronald Schmidt, James Marcelle, David Barrette, Glenn Maloney, and Dalen Jauquet.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday May 17, 2024 at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday May 17, 2024 at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Joel Brassfield.
