The City of Manitowoc’s Common Council is seeking to fill a vacancy in the first aldermanic district following Brett Vanderkin’s resignation before Monday night’s Committee of The Whole meeting.
Those interested in applying must reside within that district and submit a letter of interest accompanied by a resume no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 13th.
District boundary maps are available both in the City Clerk’s office and on the city’s website, www.manitowoc.org.
The Common Council will appoint the qualified candidate to fill the seat at their June 17th meeting to serve the remainder of the term ending April 21st, 2025.
