The Manitowoc Lincoln Doubles team of Ayden Knuth and Cohen Newberg is headed to the WIAA State Boys Individual Tennis Tournament in Madison.
The Ships tandem defeated a team from West Bend East 6-1,6-0 at the Division One Sectional meet hosted by Oshkosh North at Fox Cities Racquet Club to earn their state bid.
Ayden and Cohen improved to 29 and 0 and will continue to play this (Thursday) afternoon to improve their seeding at next week’s state meet, which will be held May 30th through June 1st.
