Several individuals and teams from northeast Wisconsin will participate in next week’s WIAA State Boys Golf Championships in Kohler.
In Division Three, Senior Dylan Bramstedt of Valders, Sophomore Karson Kowalski of Mishicot, Senior Elliot Leibham of Sheboygan Lutheran, and Senior Carson Mersrberger of Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah qualified based on results from the sectional competition(s) held Wednesday.
Qualified teams include St. Mary’s Springs of Fond Du Lac and Bonduel. In Division One, defending state champion Sheboygan North headlines a field that includes Bayport and Notre Dame.
Individual Division One qualifiers include senior Mason Haupt of West De Pere and senior Matthew Van Den Heuvel of Wrightstown in Division Two.
Practice rounds on The Meadows Course at Blackwolf Run will be on Sunday, and the competition will take place on Monday and Tuesday, June 3rd and 4th.
