The Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Tennis doubles team of senior Ayden Knuth, and junior Cohen Newberg has advanced to the third round of The WIAA Division One Individual State Tournament in Madison.
The third-seeded Ships tandem defeated Will Muraski and Colin McGee from Kenosha Indian Trail 6-2,6-2 to improve to 30 and 1 on the season.
They’ll take on Justin Hutchcoft and Ty Tennison of Verona in their next match at approximately 1:30 Friday afternoon for a berth in the quarterfinals later Friday afternoon.
