The Manitowoc County Mariners come off the Memorial Day holiday as they host The Illinois Cowboys at Ron Rubick Municipal Field in Manitowoc on Saturday afternoon.
The Mariners are 1 and 2 in The Northern Lights Football League and are fresh off their first win of the season, 48 to 13, over the Brown County Blackjacks on May 18th.
The last meeting between these two teams was in last year’s playoffs, where the Cowboys came away with an impressive win in the semifinal round in Chicago.
Gates open at 2 p.m., with kickoff set for 3 p.m.
